Greentree Summer League needs YOU | January

The Greentree Summer League needs YOU! How you can help is below the fold (with no more bad photoshop jobs, I promise).

For the third year, we are taking on the task of raising money to support the Pittsburgh Basketball Club and the Pro-Am League this summer in Green Tree. If you recall, it has been largely because of the efforts of PantherLair friends that we've been able to keep this League going.

Because we were able to raise over $4,000 last year, at Green Tree there was a team named "The Lair" and another named "Center Court."

This year, we have again set a goal to raise $4,000 for the Pittsburgh Basketball Club.

I'm hoping that everyone will consider making a $100 gift, but any amount you can contribute is appreciated.

If you can join me as one of the Pittsburgh Basketball Club Supporters, all you need to do is [email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ] and say you are "IN" and I'll provide further instructions on where to send a check. The contribution is a TAX-DEDUCTIBLE gift to the Pittsburgh Basketball Club.

As most of you probably know, I am quite enthused about this Summer League.  It's a great thing for moving Pittsburgh Basketball forward, not to mention helping University of Pittsburgh Men's Basketball as well.  In addition, it's just a great time to watch. This year's event could be really fun. With absence of many pro summer leagues this year, some old friends may be around to join!  More on that later.

In return for your gift, you'll receive ... well ... at the very least ... my sincere gratitude along with: 1. A tax deduction 2. All $100 donors to the League will receive a Pittsburgh Basketball Club T-shirt 3. A great feeling that you helped keep the League going. 4. In our own small way, we are even helping our fine Panther Team! Please let me know if you have questions. Thanks for your consideration!

Thanks to David for his hard work.
